Located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Florence, this place was love at first sight. The house was fully renovated by a Florentine architect and decorated by the owner, whose expertise in interior design and appreciation for Italian craftsmanship resulted in a vivid and cinematic interior with curated details and un unmistakably Florentine spirit.
The kitchen island in the open living space, one of our favourite details, adds to the homely atmosphere and overlooks the Dome and the soft hills of Fiesole with their magical light in the afternoon hours. Panoramic views over the icons of Florence, framed by the vivid green of surrounding gardens, are an undoubtedly intriguing feature of this house.

The ample vegetation of the surroundings is especially notable with the arrival of spring, when the air suddenly acquires a new tone – the scent of mimosa, gradually fused with jasmine, wisteria, and later on, blossoms of cherry trees and roses. The warm atmosphere at every moment of the day is greatly shaped by the natural light, allowed by the raised position of the apartment: from the brightness of the morning to the soft “Florentine peach” at sunset.

Precious marbles that decorate every bathroom, another favourite detail of ours, are the architect’s signature. Particularly fond of the marbles of Carrara for their timeless look, he always insisted on the special feeling of a living matter that only natural stone could evoke.

We remember this house from the beginning. Covered with layers of dust, the scene was barely enthusiastic – the house required an integral renovation, and patience, and time. But its many rarities and the uniqueness of the location made it clear from the beginning: this place would become a truly perfect Florentine home.

This house is currently for sale. More details are available in our portfolio.
